Milwaukee’s Addiction is still recovering following an absolutely incredible 4th of July weekend! Closing out Saloonfest2 was truly an honor! Following local favorites the Metal Men, Train Wreck, Insane Octane, Sliver and others, the crowd was super pumped up and Addiction delivered one of our best shows ever! Now, we can’t go any further without sending a giant THANK YOU to Dave & Jennine for hosting such an amazing 10 day music festival! Tons of local acts, playing different genres on diff days, with an indoor/outdoor party atmosphere! Kind of reminds of what a certain nationally recognized Milwaukee summer festival, used to be like, you know what I mean? 😉 Special thanks also to Dan, Glenn and Steve for running sound and lights for us after 45 other bands and not completely losing their minds! Thanks also to Addiction alumnus Wayne for dropping in all the way from TN and rocking a couple tunes with us! And of course, thank you to all of our amazing fans, friends and families that come out to rock with us and other local bands! We hope you all had an awesome 4th of July!

Milwaukee’s Addiction had a great time at the Greendale Lions 4th Fest! We saw lots of our fans, friends and families rockin’ with us at this awesome event! All your favorite 80’s rock, perfect weather, plenty of tasty food and beverages, AND the Oscar Meyer Wienermobile just off stage right! How could it possibly get better than that, ha! Special thanks go to Mary G and Rich B for making it all come together, we couldn’t have done it without you! Thanks also to Matt and Shane, for running sound and lights, Don of Foreigner 4 Ever for joining us for Def Leppard’s Let It Go, and all of our fans, friends and families that rock with us every time! A huge Thank You to everyone that came out to Point Burger Bar – New Berlin last night for Milwaukee’s Addiction’s first outdoor summer show of ’21! A few brief showers earlier in the day didn’t seem to dampen anyone’s spirits and even with an epic Bucks game happening, we had a really fun crowd! Master of shenanigans Mitch Paget helped to get the show started and then we took it from there! It was so cool to see so many friends from yesteryear, along with a rafter of my co-workers from Walgreens, where we all worked back in 1986! But the biggest shocker of the night was a surprise visit from a long lost brother I never even met before! Special thanks to Paula Eileen and Scott Biesty for making that happen! It truly is a small, but amazing world! Special thanks also go to Angelo Morgan, Peter Tonn and ALM Fusion Event Services for running sound and lights in a very non-traditional “room”! You guys always make us sound and look like we almost know what we’re doing! And as always, thank you to all of our fans, friends and families that continue to rock with us and support local music! Hope to see everyone next week Friday (7/2) at the Downtown Greendale Days Lions Fest for another outdoor show (4-7 pm) and/or the following day as we close out Saloonfest at the The Saloon on Calhoun on their indoor stage (930 start)!

Milwaukee’s Addiction would like to thank everyone that came out to Paulie’s Pub and Eatery June 12th! What an awesome night! We saw a ton of new people enjoying the heavier side of Addiction! Milwaukee radio favorite Mitch Paget introduced us to start off the night and it just got crazier from there! We’re so glad to see everyone out and enjoying life again! Thank you to everyone that came out to Milwaukee’s Addiction at Greenfield Pub last night! It was our first time there and you guys just packed the place! We saw so many familiar faces and everyone was smilin’, drinkin’ and rockin’! Special thanks need to go to so many people! First, our birthday group of Kristan, Ryan, Bryan & Ryan! So glad to have all of you join us on stage for a round of ‘Happy Birthday’! Milwaukee radio legend Mitch, for stoking up the crowd and introducing our second set! Next, one of the local music scene’s finest, Rich Hoffman, for jumping up and singing a song with us with absolutely no notice, not that he’d need it! Of course the staff at Greenfield Pub, for keeping the food & drinks flowing all night for the packed crowd! Angelo, Pete and ALM Fusion Event Services, for doing sound and lights for a bunch of obnoxious rockers (that don’t know where not to put their drinks)! Milwaukee’s Addiction had an awesome time at Bubs Irish Pub! The crowd was just amazing! Birthday boys Justin and Chris celebrated with us and we saw some other faces we’ve not seen for many years too! Our fans from the Germantown area just knocked this one outa the park! We are so blessed to play for such appreciative fans! Milwaukee’s Addiction would like to thank everyone that came out to Kelly’s Bleachers II last night! What an awesome night of classic 80’s rock and metal! New original band Dawn of Day opened up the night with a solid set featuring lots of twin guitar leads. Then Addiction took the wheel and gave the kick ass Kelly’s crowd everything we had! I’m serious, after our 2+ hour set, we were all wiped! Special thanks to KB2 for hosting, Zoy for setting it up, DoD for opening up, birthday girl Michelle, for celebrating with us, our new drummer Chris’ entourage, he’s got his own fan club! What an awesome way for Milwaukee’s Addiction to start 2021! We’re all hoping for better things this year and our first show of the year at The Saloon on Calhoun didn’t disappoint! The huge crowd was just amazing, we saw so many familiar faces, and lots of new ones too! The energy was truly electric! Our new drummer Mykel joined us for a handful of songs in each set and sang lead on a song too and tore it up! Wayne gave us a farewell salvo of his thunderous drumming the rest of the night and was on fire! It’s a blessing to be able to perform with such a talented group of guys! The lovely Cherie joined us for an Ozzy/Lita duet and totally nailed it, like always. Special thanks to Dave for letting us invade his fine establishment once again, Dan and Jeremy for running sound and lights like total pros, all the bar staff for the super tasty food and keeping everyone’s drinks full and of course, all of our fans, friends and families that continue to support us and other local music! They have the fading Addiction logo on the front with text and barbed wire on the back. The men’s tees have a crew neck while the women’s tees have a vee neck. We have men’s sizes M,L,XL,XXL and women’s sizes S,M,L,XL in stock and ready to rock! While supplies last, I’ll also include an Addiction promo pack with any shirt purchase. It includes a hi-res 11×17 poster in a protective shell, song library lists, bios, business cards, etc. Prices are $15 for one shirt, or 2 for $25.
